Property development finance can as a guideline be taken out between 1 and twenty or even more years. Of course this could rely sometimes on the dimensions of the project you are undertaking and the amount you want to borrow. If the project is costing many thousands of pounds then you would take it out over a longer time. However on completion of the loan you would then have to find the money to repay the capital borrowed completely. Banks must see you’ve got the means to try this before they are going to give you finance this way.
