More and more people are taking steps to preserve as many of the planet’s resources as possible.  We are installing solar power systems in our homes at record rates.  More and more people are installing rainwater tanks so they can store rainwater that’s been collected.  The water that is collected and stored is used at a later date.  Depending on how much water you collect, you can make a big difference in your water bill.  Most people use collected rainwater for watering lawns and gardens, filling their swimming pools, and washing cars and clothing.  While these are the common usages, you can drink the collected water as long as its filtered first.
