Are modern Solar Panels efficient?
Modern solar panels that are produced today are far more efficient than they used to be, simply because the technology is far more advanced than it used to be. Most modern solar panels provide roughly between 400mA – 800mA which is enough power to run about 3-4 small appliances or 1 big appliance. So in order to run a whole house hold on solar power you would need approximately 5-6 panels which is quite adequate for an average house roof space. The panel’s are always connected to a battery source so that the power can be saved for later use, the batteries are also used to regulate the power, to eliminate power surges.
