A Eulogy for the Rich and Famous
When the rich and famous and powerful die, the crowds line up to pay their respects and the funerals are huge and sometimes impersonal. The tributes may be done by those more concerned with impressing the crowd than comforting the family. However, when this famous senator died, each eulogy was touching and tender. The family presented this final goodbye exactly the way they knew their father and grandfather would have chosen. The crowds were still huge, but the grief was real. Saying goodbye to someone you truly love and respect is a necessary thing, and doing it with your closest friends for support is a healing step.
