My husband and I are rarely able to get the same time off for vacation, but last month we finally got the same two week period of time off together. We wanted to do something fun, but we didn’t want to have to plan an elaborate trip somewhere. He was looking online and suggested trying the Route 66 tours, and I agreed that it would be perfect. We packed and left, and we stopped at all the major points of interest along the way. We were able to see some of the ghost towns, which I had always wanted to do. That was a terrific vacation!
